One Day Excursion in Spetses
Known as Isola di Spezie under Venetian rule and Pityoussa (pine-clad) in ancient times, Spetses, at just 54 nautical miles from Athens, is a picturesque, car-free island with a unique architecture, naval history and culture. The island flourished during the early 18th century, developing into a significant naval power, dominating the major shipping routes of the Mediterranean.

We will move south between the Peloponnese and Hydra where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the view from its magical port. On the cosmopolitan island of Spetses, there are countless perfect beaches and the first one we will stop at is Agioi Anargyri where you will also find the cave of Bekiris. Then we will move to Zogeria beach so you can enjoy the crystal clear turquoise waters.
